A HISTORY OF COMMUNITY SERVICE
Coach Cam’s journey into community service started from his early experiences as a student-athlete at the University of Houston. Seeing first-hand the transformative power of sports and the positive impact it could have on a young person’s life, he felt a calling to give back to his community. His dedication to his students, not just as an athletic director and coach but also as a mentor, honed his passion for service.

Coach Cam: Turkey Drive
The Turkey Drive is a flagship community outreach initiative led by Texas Athletics Construction (TAC) and Coach Cam that has been a beacon of hope since 2015. It's a mission aimed at providing warmth and nourishment to those in need in Houston, successfully feeding thousands of individuals over the years.
Christmas Wishes
The Christmas Wishes program, under the umbrella of Coach Cam Cares, is a heartwarming initiative by Texas Athletic Construction, where Coach Cam adopts families in need during the holiday season. It provides them with a unique and unforgettable experience, filling their holidays with joy and hope.
Micro Scholarship Program
The First in Family Micro Scholarship Program is a unique initiative by Coach Cam. It offers financial aid to black and brown students who are the first in their families to attend college. By utilizing his coaching network, Coach Cam identifies deserving students and provides them with scholarships to ease their financial burden and make college more accessible.
